James Smith Jr., age 70, of Newport, passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2020 in Fairfield, Ohio.  He was born  February 8, 1950 in Pineview, Georgia.

A gathering of family and friends from 2:00 p.m. until 2:30 p.m., on Tuesday, August 25, 2020, at Walker Funeral Home, 2625 Gilbert Avenue, Walnut Hills (45206).  A  memorial service will follow the gathering and will begin at 2:30 p.m.
