Jordan Jr., James V., a.k.a. Jay, beloved husband of Joyce Jordan (nee McWhorter). Loving father of James (Mary) Jordan, III, Robbie Jordan and the late Adeline Vanessa Jordan; devoted step-father of Sonja (Garrick) Berkhalter, and Anthony Hendrix, Sr.; grandfather of Miles Jordan, Justin, Jaylen and Jada Jordan and special grandpa-Jay to Tony and Anton Hendrix, Sydni and Sterling Berkhalter. He is survived by his brother, David (Regina) Jordan, his sister, Tanya (William) Foster and his caring mother in-law, Mildred McWhorter. Passed away on Thursday, January 1, 2009. Friends may call Saturday, January 10, 2009 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Services will begin at 12:00 p.m. at St. Simon of Cyrene Episcopal Church, 810 Matthews Drive, Lincoln Heights (45215). Interment Oak Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be sent to the St. Simon of Cyrene Episcopal Church, After School Tutoring and Feed the Children program.
