Obituary

James Ralph Sullivan, 67, passed away peacefully on November 1st, 2020 at Christ Hospital, Cincinnati, Ohio.  He was born to Ralph and Dorothy Sullivan of Chula Vista, California.

He was lovingly referred to as "Jimmy" by his family and friends.  He enjoyed telling jokes and showing off his magic tricks.  At the age of 12, he ranked as a sharpshooter with a handgun.  At the age of 17, Jimmy joined the United States Navy, he was an Aviation boatswain's mate and a duty driver.  Jimmy was Honorably discharged from the Navy with the rank of E2.  Jimmy enjoyed traveling which led to a career in transportation.  He had an exceptional sense of direction and loved finding his way around.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph E. and Dorothy M. Sullivan (nee Hoefling), sister Nancy Hill and son, Jason Smith.

Jimmy is survived by his partner, Teresa Ellis; Sisters, Linda Petrosky (Don) and Karen Crim; Children, Connie Hayes (Michael), James Sullivan II, and Rebekah Sullivan; Step-daughter, Renee Rooks (Willy).  He is also survived by 7 grandchildren.

Jim brought joy, happiness and laughter to all who met him.  He will be greatly missed.
