James Louis Hunter was the second born of Linda Hunter and the late James Reed on November 9, 1990. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio where he resided during his lifetime.He attended Oyler Elementary and North College Hill High School. He played little league football. His nicknames were JJ and J-Money.

James was a sweet and caring individual. The energy and love he gave everyone that he came in contact with was beyond amazing. He was a stand-up guy and well-respected by everyone. He loved his video games, and rap music.  He was definitely a jokester and overprotective over his sisters. He act as if he was their dad. He was a family man, usually with one of his family members on a daily basis. He was Erica's son just as much as his own mother. Every Sunday, he would take his sister, Carlisha on a date. He was best friends with his brother.

James is  preceded in  death by his father,  James Reed; brother, Ja'Renta; Uncle Henry;  Great Grandmothers: Janie and Rose .

James leaves behind his children,  Peyton (Pey-Pey, 11) and Jeremiah (Lil JJ, 9);  his mother, Linda;  siblings, Erica, Antonio, Carlisha, and his baby sister Ca'mayah; his nephews, Antonio( Lil Tonio, 11) and Ja'volid ( JV, 8); niece, Kaylee (KK, 1);  grandmothers, Irene and Willa Mae; and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins and other relatives and friends to bask in his memory.

Visitation is from 3:00 pm until 4:00 pm on Friday, August 7, 2020, at the Walker - Mt Healthy Chapel - 7272 Hamilton Avenue, Mt. Healthy, Ohio 45231.
