James Anthony Hazel Jr. also known as "Fatman" was born on December 23, 1999 in Cincinnati, Ohio to James A. Hazel Sr. and Tinyotta S. Reed. James departed this earthly life on Tuesday, August 20, 2019 in Cincinnati, Ohio unexpectedly.

James was baptized at the age of nine at DAP Ministries of Great Faith, where he attended off and on throughout his life. James grew up in Winton Terrance where he got the name "Jigg". James graduated from Dohn Community High School in May of 2018.

He had goals to become a barber and start his own clothing line. He also loved to rap and dance with his Glacier family. James was what you would call "the life of the party". There was never a dull moment when he was around. He was one of a kind and gave off good vibes and energy you couldn't find anywhere else. He never met a stranger. He was very family oriented, and he loved to cap and argue. A pure soul with a heart full of gold that will be missed dearly, as he should.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Donna Hazel; grandfather, Darwin Weaver Sr; his brother, Adrian; and uncle, DeMarco "Marky".

James leaves to cherish his memory his parents, Tinyotta Reed and James (Siobhan) Hazel Sr.; grandparents, Maxine Reed, Anthony Williams and Gayle Brown (Nanny); his siblings, Tyrone Jr., Tyiesha, Dominick, Dominique, Adriana, Jamaijah, La'Monte, La'Marco, De'Mario, Garriyel, Garry, Michael, Anya, Gary, Dearis, Dwight Jr., Dae'Shawn, Jamonte and Desire; two nieces, Ty'Aila and Couriah; two nephews, Aiden and Dominick Jr.; nine aunts; two uncles; and a host of other great aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Visitation is from 10:00 am until noon, on Tuesday, September 3, 2019, at the Greater St. John AME Zion Church, 772 Whittier Street,  Cincinnati, Ohio 45229. The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 12 noon.

Interment will follow at the Vine Street Hill Cemetery, 3701 Vine Street, Cincinnati, Ohio 45220
