James Antonio Edwards February 19, 1987 - July 11, 2023

James Edwards (36) was unexpectedly called home Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at his home in Springdale, Ohio.  James was born February 19, 1987 to Alena Edwards and Edward Ballard Sr. in Cincinnati, Ohio . He was a hard working, very loving and loyal man who always showed up no matter the reasoning or the time.  James lived life to the fullest, on the edge and on his terms. "I got this" was his mantra!  He was definitely head strong and hard headed.  Everything he did was with dedication and love even in work. No matter how much pain he had in those awful feet, no matter how tired he was due to so many sleepless nights, he never made excuses.  James heart and loyalty will forever be unmatched.

James is preceded in death by his great grandfather, Webster Sanders; his grandparents Charles and Mamie Ballard and aunt Trina. He leaves behind a great grandmother, Genoviba Sanders; grandparents Carl and Era Edwards; a son Jaymir Edwards, a sister Morgan Edwards; two brothers Ed and Jake Ballard; an uncle James L. Edwards; two aunts Sheryl and Yvette Ballard; special friend Kelsey Houpe; and numerous cousins and friends.

Visitation is from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, on  Saturday, July 22, 2023, at the Kemper Road Christian Church, 11609 Hanover Road , Forest Park   (45240).   The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 11:00 am.
