James Waddy Graham, affectionately known as "Eaglebee" was born July 1, 1924 to the late Lodrick and Betsy Phillips in Chester, South Carolina.  After moving to Middletown, Ohio in 1939 he joined the US Navy during WWII and served for three years.

He was a member of the VFW Hunter Clark Post 64005.  He was a member of Second Baptist Church in Middletown.  He retired from Armco Steel after 38 years of service.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his loving wife, Mary Elizabeth Bigby Graham;  three sons, Phillip of Bronx, NY, Damon and Timothy of Middletown, Ohio; sister, Margaret Grier of Bronx, NY; niece, Karen Williams of Middletown; grandson, Brian Graham of Middletown; host of other relatives and friends.

Service 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 27, 1993.  Interment will follow at Woodside Cemetery in Middletown, Ohio.
