James Eric Doughman was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on September 27, 1960 to the late Anna Mae Givens Doughman and Helmer Spencer Doughman, Jr.

James (who is affectionately called Eric) departed this world on Thursday, December 29, 2022.

Eric was the youngest of 5 siblings: Saundra Smiley, Pamela Doughman Hardy, Terri Doughman and Helmar Spencer Doughman.

Eric attended St. Mark Catholic School and graduated from Purcell High School in 1979.  He attended The Ohio State University after completing high school.  Eric worked in the food service industry and took great pride in cooking for his family, especially. His last position was at the Mt. Adams Bar and Grill and he became a beloved fixture in the Mt. Adams community.

Eric was an avid sports fan and loved the Cincinnati Red and Bengals and The Ohio State Buckeyes.

Eric leaves to cherish his life and memory, his 4 siblings: Saundra, Pamela, Terri and Spencer.  Cousins: Janeen, Stacey, Joseph, Patrick, Terris and Tiffany.  Nieces & Nephews: Stacey, Monica, Alesa, Corey, Edwin, Abram, Teri, Seth, Maya and Nakeya, Camille; and a host of grand and great nephews and nieces.
