Obituary

James David Davis went home to be with Jesus on January 3, 2022, at the age of 81. James was born in Hamilton, Ohio.

James worked in the drywall industry for many years. In his free time, James loved to hunt, fish, and spend time with his family and his friends at the Optimist Club.

James was preceded in death by his parents: Harvey and Ruth Davis; two brothers: Ted Davis and Darrel Davis; two sisters: Anna Spiers and Hilda Robertson; and two grandchildren: Samuel Barrett and Miracle Barrett.

James was survived by his children: Tonya Mardis (Homer), Robin (Nick) Croucher, Kristi (Chris) Barrett, James Davis (Liza O'Leary), Carla (Mike) Barrett; two brothers: Raymond (Carol) Davis and Johnny (Sherry) Davis; his sister Darlene (David) Miller; his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Visitation will be held on January 12, 2022, from 11:00 am until the time of his funeral service at 12:00 pm at the Full Gospel Mission Church, 2030 William Street, Hamilton, Ohio, 45011.

Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery

Immediately after the burial, a gathering will follow in loving memory of James at the Full Gospel Mission Church Fellowship Hall. All are welcome
