James E. Boyd, age 91 passed on Tuesday, January 26, 20212 in Cincinnati, Ohio. James was born on November 16, 1929 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Otis Boyd Sr. and Hattie Boyd. James is proceeded in death by his wife, Lenester Boyd.

James will be missed and remembered by family and good  friends. James often said "Don't Cry Over Me, I Lived A good Life." James accepted Jesus Christ at an early age. James went into the military and fought in the Korean War. Upon returning back to the United States, James began working for the  United States  Postal Service for about two years. James then went to work for Fries Fries. James enjoyed bowling, vacations, exercising and spending time with his family. He was known by his artistic hand and style. He had great energy.

James leaves to cherish his loving memory his children, Andrea Boyd and Ronald Boyd; 10 grand and great grand children, Terri Wright, Tonya Boyd , Paul Mills II, Brandon Mills, Antoinette Boyd, Nida Boyd Shelton (Reginald), Felisha Boyd, Ronald Jason Boyd and Arnold Boyd; two brothers, William (Juanita) Boyd and Clifford (Charlene) Boyd, daughter-in-law, Elaine Mills;  special friend Correll Glenn;  also a host of nieces and nephews along with family and friends.

Visitation is from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm on Thursday, February 4, 2021, at the Walker- Mt. Healthy Chapel, 7272 Hamilton Avenue , Cincinnati  (45231).   The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 12:00 pm. Everyone attending must wear a mask and practice social distancing.

Interment will follow at Vine Street Hill Cemetery, 3701 Vine Street, Cincinnati, Ohio 45220.

In keeping with the Covid-19 Pandemic restrictions masks are required in order to enter  the service and social distancing must be practiced.  Please be prepared to comply for the safety of all.
