James Anthony Ashcraft, known to his loved ones as Tony, passed away on February 11, 2024, at the age of 59, in Hebron, Kentucky. Born on July 29, 1964, in Covington, Kentucky. He graduated from Simon Kenton High School in 1982. Tony was a US Army Veteran, who served our country with duty and honor. He was a dedicated employee of Century Construction for over 30 years. During his lifetime he coached, led, and volunteered for numerous youth sports organizations and groups, notably NKYA. Tony was preceded in death by his Mother and Father, Catherine Josephine and Raymond Edward Ashcraft, as well as his brothers, Raymond and Chuck. Survived by his beloved wife Kasey; daughter, Mandy (Adam) and son, Xander; siblings Diane, Jody, Rosie, Patty, Dan, Mary and Marie; and proud Ole' Buddy to Lane and Savannah, his grandchildren. Tony was a selfless person who always put others before himself. His kindness and generosity knew no bounds, and he dedicated himself to helping those in need. He had a fierce love for his family and friends, and his caring nature touched the lives of many. A ceremony to honor and remember Tony will be held on Thursday, February 22, 2024, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Boone County Historic Courthouse located at 2988 Washington Street in Burlington, Kentucky. Public parking is available at the Administration Building. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that contributions be made directly to the family or the American Lung Association in memory of Tony.
