It is with profound sadness we announce the heavenly transition of Jacqueline "Jackie"  McMullen, age 58, of Cincinnati, Ohio,  who entered eternal rest on Monday, September 23, 2024, in Cincinnati,  Ohio.   She was born on Thursday, January 13, 1966, in Cincinnati, Ohio to Glenda McMullen Lykes and F. Richard Lykes.

Jackie attended Cincinnati Public Schools, graduating from Robert A. Taft High School in 1984.

Jackie has always worked in the medical field. She was a Unit Clerk at Good Samaritan Hospital for 28 years, she was still there at the time of her passing. Her work family is going to miss their Jackie!

Jackie loved to cook, travel (she never met a beach she didn't like), she was always cruising. Oh, and the shopping? She was out every Saturday morning, be It Kroger, Walmart, Meijer or the mall, she was out there. Then come home to talk on the phone to her cousin Venita and sister Michelle all day!

Jacke LOVED her family; her KIDS and GRANDKIDS were her world. She welcomed everyone to her table, she would fuss (that was just her), but she fed you, she loved you and would give you the shirt off her back.

Jackie was preceded in death by her parents, Glenda and F. Richard Lykes.

September 23, 2024, she fought her last fight, she went to be with her Heavenly Family.

She leaves to cherish her memory: two daughters, Marketa and Kiera; four grandchildren, Amira, Kimora, Jules, and Khamari; sister, Michelle; niece, TaSheah; four great-nieces and nephews: Tyren, Torren, Trenton, and Treasure; six uncles, Randy (Cinti, Ohio) Joe, Danny, Bobby, Thomas, George (Ata/GA); three aunts, Minnie, Sherry, and Kathy (GA); special cousins, Venita McMullen, "her favorite" and Lorenzo McMullen; three Goddaughters, Crystal and Gracie Gallagher and NaToya Sanders; four besties, Ann, Bernadette, Debbie and Terrie; work buddy, Bob  Cooper and a host of cousins and friends who she loved.

We're going to miss you Sis, LOVE YOU ALWAYS!

Visitation is from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, on  Saturday, October 5, 2024, at the Walker Funeral Home - Walnut Hills Chapel, 2625 Gilbert Avenue, Cincinnati  (45206).   The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 11:00 am. Dr. Charles Battle, Jr. will officiate.  Friends and family will gather to share memories, find solace in one another's company, and honor the legacy she leaves behind.

Interment will follow at Vine Street Hill Cemetery, 3701 Vine Street, Cincinnati, Ohio 45220.
