IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Jacqueline M.
Barrow
January 5, 1962 – August 14, 2020
On January 5, 1962, a legend was born to Elizabeth Gilbert (Williams) and Charles Harris in Cincinnati, Ohio. Jacqueline Miller entered the world ready to change the world. A graduate of Aiken High School. Jacky was known for her infectious laugh, ready humor, and bold manner. Jacky was a loving soul who dedicated her life to others. She continued her education at Cincinnati State where she achieved her Associate's Degree. Upon completion, her career at Richards Electric (Cincinnati, OH) began and would last for 30+ years until her death.
Jacky had a deep raspy voice that she used to glorify God every chance she got! She was a lifelong member of the Grammy Award-winning gospel choir Charles Fold and the Charles Fold Singers. She was an avid supporter and active member of the Cincinnati Chapter of the Gospel Music Workshop of America. Through these gospel connections, she traveled the nation singing and lifting the Lord's name.
Earlier in her life, she served at Inspirational Baptist Church and Macedonia Living Word Fellowship. At the time of her transition, she was a proud and faithful member of Higher Ground Global Ministries under her beloved spiritual parents Bishop Steven and Pastor Adrienne White. Jacky loved her church!
Jacky was granted her rest on Friday, August 14, 2020. She is preceded in death by her mother Elizabeth Lee Williams, father Charles Harris, sister Tondolear Miller, and brother Timothy Miller.
She leaves behind her 'miracle baby' son: Donovan Barrow II; sister, Charlie (Keith) Anderson; brothers, Phillip Miller, Leroy (Juanette) Campbell, Stephen (Melvina) Harris, Kimble (Terri) Miller, and Chuck (Dianna) Harris; aunts, Frances Gilbert and Joyce (Pastor Timmy) Carson; adopted son, Lamont Wise, and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. She also leaves a host of adopted family from across the nation who affectionately call her 'Aunt Jacky'. She referred to them all as 'my babies'.
Jacky will be missed by all who knew her. She was a woman of God whose influence and love transcended generations and seasons. She will forever be known as love personified.
