Isaiah Lee Currie, age 20 died on Wednesday, December 20, 2017. He was born at University Hospital to Kimberly Turner and Lee Currie. Isaiah attended Riverview Elementary school, Taft Middle school and graduated from Dohn High school. Isaiah was very athletic and played sports. To know Zay, was to know that he was always smiling. The kind of smile that makes you smile as well. Family meant everything to Zay. Isaiah lived by the motto, I am my family's keeper. He was very affectionate with his mother and always doted over her. Isaiah is saying to everyone "Close your eyes, see my joy! Know that I have touched all of you, I live within you. See my smile and hear my laughter because I am at peace! I love all of you!" Isaiah leaves behind his beloved Mother and Father, Kimberly Turner and Lee Currie, brothers Ian Faulk, Isaac Faulk, I'Ronn Turner Sr., Montel Boone, Lee Currie, II, Lee Currie, III, and Lee Andre Currie. Sisters, Iyanna Currie, Shalea Currie, Kylea Currie, Tre Anna Currie, Lee Anna Currie and Asia Pearson. Grandmothers, Gwendolyn Turner and Rubie Currie, grandfather, Robert Woods, Aunts, Jacqueline Turner (Shawn), Ovena Walker and LaSonya Currie, Uncle, Raymond Turner, three nieces, four nephews, and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins. Special family and friends, Walter, Brittany, Jayla and Angie. Isaiah was preceded in death by his brother Josh Gibson and Gregory Whaley (grand daddy).
