It is with profound sadness that we announce the heavenly transition of Irene Jean Johnson, age 96, of Cincinnati,  who entered eternal rest on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, in Cincinnati, Ohio.   She was born on Friday, August 23, 1929, in Cincinnati to the late Joseph and Nellie (McDevitt) Fritsch.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold M. Johnson.

Loving mother of Sandy Yates, Allen Yazell, Andy Fritsch, Randy Yazell, Craig Yazell, and Steven Yazell.

No funeral or memorial service is immediately planned.  The family will notify loved ones in the future when a service is scheduled.
