It is with profound sadness that we announce the heavenly transition of Ira Jean Sanks, age 90, of Cincinnati, Ohio, who entered eternal rest on Friday, September 4, 2026, in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was born on Friday, September 13, 1935, in Dothan, Alabama.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from 9:30 am until 10:30 am, on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at the Gray Road Church of Christ, 4826 Gray Road, Cincinnati (45232). The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation, beginning at 10:30 am. Friends and family will gather to share memories, find solace in one another's company, and honor the legacy she leaves behind.

She will be laid to rest at Spring Grove Cemetery, 4521 Spring Grove Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45232.
