It is with profound sadness that we announce the heavenly transition of Ida M Hammonds, age 96, of Cincinnati, Ohio, who entered eternal rest on Saturday, October 10, 2026, in Mason, Ohio. She was born on Friday, May 9, 1930, in Abbeville, South Carolina.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm, on Sunday, October 25, 2026, at the Walker Funeral Home - Walnut Hills Chapel, 2625 Gilbert Avenue, Cincinnati (45206). The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation, beginning at 3:00 pm. Friends and family will gather to share memories, find solace in one another's company, and honor the legacy she leaves behind.

She will be laid to rest at 11:15 am on Monday, October 26, 2026 at Vine Street Hill Cemetery, 3701 Vine Street, Cincinnati, Ohio 45220.
