Hubert J. Koehler Jr., affectionately known as "Champ," passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 31, 2024, at the age of 73. Champ was the cherished son of the late Hubert J. Koehler Sr. and Marjorie B. Koehler. He was a devoted brother to Sharon, Henry, and Gerry Koehler.

A proud alumnus of Aiken High School, Champ had a deep-rooted connection to the Cincinnati community. He was a longtime supporter of the Cincinnati Fire Department and was known for his generous spirit and warm smile. Though a very private person, Champ had a remarkable way of making everyone feel at ease; he truly never met a stranger.

His family and friends will always remember him for his quiet strength, kind heart, and unwavering loyalty. Champ's memory will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate to know him.

A private service will be held in his honor. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the Cincinnati Fire Department in memory of Champ and his enduring support.

Visitation is from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, on  Friday, November 15, 2024, at the Walker Funeral Home - Walnut Hills Chapel, 2625 Gilbert Avenue, Cincinnati  (45206).   The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 11:00 am. Friends and family will gather to share memories, find solace in one another's company, and honor the legacy he leaves behind.

Interment will follow at St. Mary Cemetery, 701 E.  Ross Avenue, St. Bernard, Ohio 45217.
