Howard L. Bodiford was born on August 22, 1910, the fourth child born to Lurn and Labenia Huff Bodiford, of whom all preceded him in death. He was born in Highland Home, Alabama. He came to Cincinnati with his wife, Ida Lue Bodiford in 1976. After a long happy marriage together she preceded him in death. His son, Amos McCall also preceded him in death. He was a member of the Garden Park Unity Church at 3581 W. Galbraith Road in Cincinnati, Ohio. He loved all the good things and simple things of life. He celebrated life with his family, friends, gardening hunting and fishing. He departed this life on February 27, 1997, at the Deaconess Hospital. He leaves to cherish his memories: one daughter, Mary Brown; four grandchildren, Vincent Morton Jr., Amos McCall Jr., Valita and Tina; six grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Funeral 12 noon, Monday, March 4, 1997, at Walker Funeral Home, 3939 Reading Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45229. Minister Joseph C. Herron, officiating. Interment Oak Hill Cemetery.
