It is with profound sadness that we announce the heavenly transition of Herbert Smiley Jr., age 78, of Cincinnati, Ohio, who entered eternal rest on Friday, June 12, 2026, in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was born on Wednesday, October 29, 1947, in Pike County, Alabama.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at the Walker Funeral Home - Butler County, 532 S. Second Street, Hamilton (45011). The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation, beginning at 11:00 am. Friends and family will gather to share memories, find solace in one another's company, and honor the legacy he leaves behind.

He will be laid to rest at Greenwood Cemetery, 1602 Greenwood Avenue, Hamilton, 45011.
