Henry Hurry, Jr., was born September 16, 1949 to Ruby Hocker and Henry Hurry, Sr. in Cincinnati, Ohio, then later moved and was raised in Covington, Kentucky. He departed this earthy life to begin his walk and journey with the Lord on March 4, 2014. Henry was a loving, devoted, strong, and carrying man and father. Henry was known to be full of life and loved to smile. Henry was also a man of great understanding. He shined bright when he entered any room. Henry was a great father to his kids. He was a no nonsense father who let you know right from wrong and never sugar coated nothing. Henry later in life found strength in searching and learning about the Lord. He was a God fearing man! Henry was preceded in death by his mother, Ruby Hocker and sister, Faye Hocker. He leaves behind to cherish his memory and legacy, three loving and lovely children, Urico Horton, Erica Horton and Brian Grey; his father, Henry Hurry, Sr; four brothers, Harold Hurry, Yunus Ali, Wayne Hocker, and Ronald Hocker; two sisters, Johnnie Mae Hurry and Sheri Hocker. Also his six beautiful grandchildren, Lionna Horton, Renee Horton, Ta'Shoun Horton, Cortez Horton, Sariah Horton and Eryionna Horton. Henry Hurry, Jr. also left to cherish his memory a host of loving and caring family members and friends. Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:30 pm on Thursday, April 10, 2014 at Walker Funeral Home - Walnut Hills Chapel, 1025 E.
