In Loving Memory Of Henrietta 'Bae Bae' Hunter 1942 - 2016 Henrietta Hunter "Bae Bae" was born April 13, 1942, in Big Stone Gap, Virginia to the late Sherman and Odessa Coward. On February 18, 2016, at 2:24 p.m. Henrietta departed life while surrounded by her loving family and friends. Henrietta moved to Cincinnati, Ohio at a young age. She attended Cincinnati Public Schools. On June 20, 1964, she united in Holy Matrimony to David Hunter Sr. To this union was seven beautiful children: Tony Tyrone, Denise Rochelle, Jacqueline, Donnetta, David Jr., Odessa Moria, Henrietta II. Henrietta Accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at a very early age. Henrietta was a housewife for many years before working outside of the home. She accepted a position at the Vernon Manor Hotel where she met many celebrities before she switched employers and retired from NSG, Services. She was a very hard worker and developed many close friends while employed with NSG. Henrietta was a wonderful mother and friend to all who knew her. She had many who adopted her as their second mother and loved her very much. She was loved by everyone she met. Henrietta enjoyed her visits to the Casinos, listening to music and playing bingo. Her hobbies included gardening and sharing her wisdom with many. She can often be found sitting up late nights with individuals who needed advice on life experiences. Many depended on her, and she was always there with a listening ear. Henrietta adored her grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them. Family gatherings were her absolute favorite way to spend her time. This included family vacations and family reunions. Her philosophy in life was simple. She nurtured and took care of her home; she emphasized to her children to love one another and treat others as you want to be treated, She was always heard saying "you never know who you might need" Trust in God for everything and remember, God knows best he never make mistakes. Henrietta was preceded in death by her parents, Sherman Coward and Odessa Coward, her brother Leroy Carr, and her late husband, David Hunter Sr. She leaves to cherish her precious memory, her sister Jerlene McDonald, her children Tony Tyrone Carr (Seteria), Denise Davis (Dale), Jacqueline Hill (Paris), Donnetta Hunter, David Hunter Jr. (Melanie), Odessa Moria Hunter, Henrietta Sheppard (Jason). Grandchildren, Felicia Denise Carr, Lanice Davis, Tyrell Grace, Nakaila Sheppard, David Hunter III, Paris Hill Jr., Sydnee Sheppard, and Kendrick Sheppard. A host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Visitation is from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, on Saturday, February 27, 2016, at the Walker- Walnut Hills Chapel, 1025 E. McMillan Street, Cincinnati (45206). The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 11:00 am. Interment will follow Vine Street Hill Cemetery in Vine Street Hill Cemetery.
