Helen Louise Austin-Young, a beloved grandmother, aunt, cousin, and friend, peacefully passed away on September 2, 2026, and entered her heavenly rest in the arms of Jesus.

She was a devoted wife and family woman who treasured time spent with those she loved. A retired postal worker, Helen was deeply devoted to her family and found joy in reading, baseball, shopping, and celebrating life’s special moments with family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Wallace “Wally” Young, and her parents, Sylvester Austin and Dorothy Austin-Smith.

Helen Louise Austin-Young leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, dedication, and cherished memories that will continue to live on in the hearts of her family, friends and all who knew and loved her.

FRIENDS AND FAMILY WILL MEET AT WALKER EVENT CENTER, 3939 READING ROAD (CORNER OF READING AND PADDCOCK), NORTH AVONDALE (45229) AT 12 NOON TO FORM FUNERAL PROCESSION.  WE WILL DEPART WALKER EVENT CENTER AT 12:30 P.M. TO PROCESS TO WALNUT HILLS CEMETERY.

Graveside service at 12:30 p.m., on Saturday, September 12, 2026 at 12:30 pm at Walnut Hills Cemetery, 3117 Victory Parkway, Cincinnati, Ohio 45206.
