Hayden Lashay
Napier
May 25, 2003 – March 22, 2026
Hayden “Hay Hay” Napier
Hayden Napier, lovingly known to many as “Hay Hay” was born on May 25, 2003, and departed this life on March 22, 2026. In her 22 years, Hayden lived boldly, authentically, and unapologetically-truly embodying the spirit of a Gemini. She felt deeply, spoke her truth, and left a lasting impression on everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
Hayden was a proud and devoted mother to her daughter, Ayva Napier, whom we affectionately call THE Queen. Ayva was the center of Hayden’s world, and she found joy in the simple moments they shared-especially trips to the park. Through Ayva Hayden’s spirit, personality, and love will continue to live on.
She was a graduate of Dohn High School and, prior to her passing, was an excelling employee at University Hospital in Avondale. Her colleagues described her as an enjoyable presence who brought light into the workplace and will be deeply missed.
Hayden had a vibrant personality and a love for life. She cherished time spent with her family and friends and took pride in always being well put together. Her laughter was unforgettable, and her energy was undeniable.
She leaves to cherish her memory her beloved daughter, Ayva Napeier; her mother, Mary Napier, her father, James Woodson (Jaclyn) and Sherrick Davis; her grandmothers Jacqueline Renfro and Doris Davis; her grand father Vance Lewis; her brothers, Jacob, Jaylen, Sherrick, Isaiah, and Noah; her sisters, Kristiana, Faith, Oliva, and Malia, along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, and friends.
Hayden was preceded in death by her grandfather, Jackson Renfro Sr.; her brother Robert; and her paternal grandmother, Frances Katherine Woodson.
Hayden will be remembered for her laughter, her bold spirit, and the love she gave so freely. Her legacy will forever shine through her daughter, Ayva, and in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
