Hattie Elizabeth Malone, age 91, passed away June 17, 2011 at Mercy Franciscian Hospital in Mt. Airy. She was born April 23, 1920, in Park City, Kentucky to the late Bedford Barlow and Ora Tisdale Barlow.

She received Christ at an  early age and later became a member of first Liberty Baptist Church.

She worked for over five families doing housekeeping and help to raise their children for over thirty years.

She married Ollie Malone Sr and moved to Cincinnati in 1953.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ollie Malone Sr and her oldest son, Edward Alan Malone.

She leaves to cherish her memories, daughter, Laverne Malone; son, Ollie Malone Jr; brother Garnett Barlow of Louisville, Kentucky; grandson, James Michael Walker; granddaughter, Diana Roberts and two great-grandsons, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m., Friday June 24, 2011, at Walker Funeral Home - West End Chapel, 930 Findlay Street, Cincinnati 45214.   Rev. Richard Cole, Pastor of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, will officiate.

Interment Vine Street Hill Cemetey, 3701 Vine Street, Cincinnati.
