HARRY A. UHL JR. Dec. 20, 1974- Aug. 17, 2002 Groton: Harry A. Uhl, Jr., 27, of 41 Goodman Road, Groton, died early Saturday morning, August 17, 2002 at Cayuga Medical Center. Harry died from injuries sustained in a hit-and-run boating accident on Cayuga Lake. Born December 20, 1974 in Ithaca, he was the son of Harry A. Uhl, Sr. of Groton and the late Deloris (nee Leopolski) Uhl who died November 9, 1999. Harry was employed as a Machinist for Borg-Warner, Ithaca and had previously been employed by Kolar Machine Shop. An avid outdoorsman, his passions included Dirt Track stock car racing, snowmobiling, hunting , fishing. Harry was an avid fan of Dale Earnhardt, Sr. At one time, he operated RNH Music Factory, a discjockey and karoake business with his brother. In addition to his father Harry A. Uhl, Sr (Jerry Ford) of Groton, survivors include his brother Rick (Kathy Woodhull) of Genoa, his sisters, Yvonne Bartlett (Roger Auer) of Groton, Cindie (James, Jr.) Bobnick of Willseyville, JoAnn (Jeffrey) Davis of Lansing, Michelle (Dick) Stark of Lansing, nieces, nephews, cousins and numerous friends including Mark(Stacey)Maybee. Harry will also be missed by his beloved dog Dale-E. Funeral services were held Tuesday, 11:00am at The Lansing United Methodist Church, 32 Brickyard Road, Lansing. Interment followed in North Lansing Cemetery. The family received friends on Monday, between the hours of 5:00pm to 8:00pm. Burial: North Lansing Cemetery North Lansing Tompkins County New York, USA
