Harry Storey was born January 27, 1943. His parents Sylvia and Harry Storey proceeded him in death. Harry was the fifth child of his mother's ten children. Harry grew up with his siblings in Cummisville and attended Central High school. After graduation, his love for cooking lead him to become a professional chef. Harry worked as a chef for over 30 years until his health failed. Harry truly loved and enjoyed his famil especially when gatherings included playing cards. Harry untied with Betty Tippins in 1958, and out of this union came their two daughters, Sylvia and Tonie, who he loved dearly. On Thursday, March 19th, Harry joined his parents in heaven. Harry leaves to mourn and cherish his memories, 3 siblings, Betty Payne (Charles), Paulette Anderson, and Calvin Anderson, 1 daughter, 1st lady Sylvia Jackson (Bishop James), 7 grandchildren, Shawn, Malisha, Clarence, Janee, Mallory, Julius and Mercedees, 4 great grandchildren, Khandyce, V.J. ,Trinity, Gideon and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Proceeded in death were: daughter, Tonie Storey, Siblings, Eugene Anderson, Herbert Anderson, Daisy Anderson, Rose Davis, James Storey and Carolyn Banks. Harry will be missed by all who encountered him. If you knew him, you were Blessed by him. Visitation is from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm, on Thursday, March 26, 2015, at the Refreshing Springs Church Of God- West Chester, 7719 Lesourdsville- West-Chester Rd, West Chester (45069).
