Obituary

Harry Richardson, beloved husband of Milli and father of Zack (nee Sara), passed away peacefully at home on February 2.  He was 67. Harry was born in Beatrice, Alabama on March 11, 1953.  He graduated from J. F. Shields High School and attended Tuskegee University where he earned a degree in electrical engineering.  Although recruited by Fortune 500 companies, Harry chose a career with Laborers International Union of North America (LIUNA) Local 265 of Cincinnati where he worked tirelessly on behalf of the members until his retirement. Besides his wife of 36 years and his cherished transgender son, Harry is survived by four siblings:  Robert (Sherrie), Arnold, Sandra, and Gwendolyn.  He also leaves an aunt and uncle, a niece and nephew, and a host of loving cousins and friends.  He is preceded in death by his parents Earvin and Bernice Richardson and sister Jewel Pogue. Because of the Covid-19 pandemic, Harry was laid to rest in a private ceremony. Harry was always dedicated to helping anyone in need, and if you would like to make a contribution in his memory to a charitable organization of your choice, we know he would feel honored.
