Grace Mae Poston 92, passed away December 10, 2013 at Mercy West Hospital, Cincinnati, Ohio. Grace was born August 25, 1921, the oldest of six children, born to Edgar and Desda Archey in Anderson, Indiana. Grace moved to Oxford in the 1950's to join her uncle Wafe Minniefield to work at Miami University. She worked as a cook at the Beta House and then Martin Dining Hall. She met and married William (Bill) Poston on May 7, 1957. This union produced one child, Peggy Poston. Grace and Bill also helped raise their nephew, Charles Archey (Little Charles). Grace left Miami in 1969 to take a position at Square D. Company, where she retired in 1990. Grace spent her retirement years helping raise her grandchildren. Grace enjoyed cooking, camping, playing cards and spending time with family and friends. Grace spent her last few years in Cincinnati with her daughter and grandchildren. Grace is survived by her daughter Peggy Poston-Perreira; grandchildren Chelsey Poston and Omar Perreira; great-grandchildren Demarius (born on her birthday), Courtney and Adriana (Gracie) and a host of other relatives and friends. Grace also has five best friends, Alice Miller, Pearl Burns, Daisy Winkler, Vera Checks and Eva Mae Henderson (Peggy's Godmother). Grace is preceded in death by her husband, William (Bill) Poston; parents, Edgar and Desda Archey; brothers, Russell, Robert, Charles and Edgar Jr. Archey; one sister, Martha Ann Cunningham.
