Gloria Jean Criswell was born June 22, 1940, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to the late James Fears and Artie (Cartwright) Fears. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and great-aunt. She was the most caring, giving, loving, generous and uplifting spirit. On Tuesday, October 25, 2016, Gloria made her transition to be with God. In addition to her parents, she is now reunited with her two sons, Vernon 'Bunny' Fears and unborn Baby Boy. She leaves behind four children, Carolyn Regina Criswell, Floria 'Cookie' Overton (Sheldon), Charles Criswell, Sr. (Lawanda), and LaShawn (Criswell) Richardson (Eddie). Eleven siblings: Johnny Fears, Della Fears, Delores Fears, Raymond Fears, Ronald 'Chico' Fears, Edna 'CAT' Parker, James 'Jimmy' Fears, Jr., Ricky Fears, William 'Billy' Fears, Charles Fears, and Anthony 'Tony' Fears; twenty-three grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren. In the House of Love that our mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and great-aunt built, there was love, laughter, good times and bad times. She was an angel and blessing to everyone with whom she came in contact. We remember her days of flare from 'psychedelic' to 'Action Jackson''. --Let it Whip!! From all of us... Visitation is from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, on Saturday, November 5, 2016, at the Walker- Walnut Hills Chapel, 2625 Gilbert Ave., Cincinnati (45206). The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Spring Grove Cemetery, 4521 Spring Grove Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45232.
