It is with profound sadness that we announce the heavenly transition of Gladys Ivadeen Murphy, age 91, of Fairfield, Ohio,  who entered eternal rest on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, in Fairfield,  Ohio.  She was born on Wednesday, July 5, 1933, in Yosemite, Kentucky.

She is survived by her children: Loretta (John) Bailey, Patrick (Lorie) Murphy, and Joe (Colleen) Murphy; grandchildren: Chad (Amanda) Barber, Sean, and Mackenzie Murphy; and great-grandchildren: Heavyn, Marla, and Myles Barber. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Lucy Bell Judd; husband, Lawrence F. Murphy; one granddaughter, Angie Barber; and two great-grandchildren, Cohen and Monroe Barber.

Visitation is from 10:30 am until 11:30 am, on  Monday, February 10, 2025, at the Walker Funeral Home - Mt. Healthy, 7272 Hamilton Avenue, Mt. Healthy  (45231).   The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 11:30 am. Friends and family will gather to share memories, find solace in one another's company, and honor the legacy she leaves behind.

Interment will follow at Arlington Memorial Gardens, 2145 Compton Road, Mt. Healthy, Ohio 45231.
