On February 21, 2015, God called his faithful servant, Gilbert Lee Moore, born March 28, 1935, home to rejoice in His Kingdom. Gil experienced the long suffering of dementia for the last five years of his life, but was blessed to be surrounded by loved ones in his daughter's home throughout his final days on earth. Gil was husband of Karen Moore, beloved father of Beverly Binning, Susan Brown, and Sherri Moore, dear brother of Cecil Moore, Piccola Angel, George Moore, James Moore, Juanita Wilson, Virginia Skiff, Geraldine Mitchell, Edward Moore, and Pauline Zelaya, and loving grandfather of Jacinda Binning, Austin Moore, Adriel Moore, Braedon Schoby, and Thea Bella Schoby. Gil was a gentle-hearted man, a family man, a craftsman, and most importantly a man of God. He loved to play the guitar and sing the gospel. Gil had the gift of witnessing the Word and healing through prayer. He was happiest when filled with the Holy Spirit and surrounded by family. Thank you to everyone who has graciously provided support to Gilbert and his family during this time. We celebrate that he no longer suffers and is now reunited with his parents in heaven.
