With hearts full of love and sorrow, we remember Gianni Mykel Ndiaga Byrd, born on June 30, 2025—a precious blessing gently placed into the arms of his devoted parents, Journey Stapleton and Jevion Byrd. He joined his siblings, Giovanni and Beautifull, completing their circle with his quiet presence and radiant spirit.

Though his time with us was brief, Gianni's impact was profound. He brought immeasurable joy, love, and light to all who met him. His life, though short, was filled with meaning and surrounded by deep, unwavering love.

Our family is forever changed—and forever grateful—for the time we were given with Gianni. His memory will live on in our hearts, always.

He leaves to cherish his memory; his parents Mother Journey Stapleton and Jevion Byrd: one Brother Giovanni Goodson: one sister Beautifull Baylor: four grandparents Lakeesha Price, Lawerence Stapleton Sr. Tiffany Shelton, and Marvin Lovette; one great grandma Deborah Morto; 8 aunts Jamyia Price, Jameka Stapleton, Jamarriah Stapleton, Jaynyce Stapleton, Deasia Smith, Jonnice Brown, Tierra Davis, and Princess Jaeda Anderson-Shelton: six Uncles Lawrence Stapleton Jr., Lamichael Stapleton, Javion Stapleton, Kevin Stapleton, Tyran Davis, and King William: one great great aunt Letitia Bratcher: One Great aunt Stephanie Stapleton: Godfather Ndiaga, a host aunts, uncles and cousins and friends.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, on  Saturday, September 27, 2025, at the Serve Church, 1364 Spring Lawn Ave, Cincinnati  (45223).   The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation,  beginning at 11:00 am. Friends and family will gather to share memories, find solace in one another's company, and honor the legacy he leaves behind.

He will be laid to rest at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 11000 Montgomery Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45249.
