IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Gerald Anthony
Hinesman, Jr
November 12, 1995 – September 2, 2025
Gerald Anthony Hinesman Jr. was placed on this earth and into the loving arms of his parents, Gerald Sr. and Theresa Hinesman, on November 12, 1995, at University Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio.
From a young age, Gerald had a deep fascination with cars. Whether it was toy cars as a child or classic Buicks as an adult, his passion never faded. If you ever handed him the wrong toy car, he'd carefully describe his favorite—bumper to bumper—until you got it just right. His favorite car? A classic old-school Buick from the '90s.
Gerald's love for music spanned generations and genres. He appreciated everything from the legendary Tupac Shakur to the soulful voice of Michel'le. He often found peace by taking walks downtown and sitting quietly by the river—sometimes in silence, other times with music filling his ears.
In May of 2014, Gerald proudly earned his high school diploma from Dohn Community High School. Later in life, he embraced one of his most cherished roles—that of a father—to his beloved son, Gerald Anthony Hinesman III (G3). Gerald adored his son and loved him deeply.
He also had a passion for movies, basketball, and good food. But above all else, family was everything to Gerald. He cherished family gatherings so much that he'd try to call off work just to be there. His love was unconditional—he loved everyone around him the way the world should love, with his whole heart.
As he got older, the casino became a favorite pastime. The Hard Rock Casino Cincinnati became like a second home, and he often convinced family and friends to join him. Eventually, Gerald dedicated his time to working there—until his untimely passing on the morning of September 2, 2025.
Gerald leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter. He is survived by his cherished son, Gerald Anthony Hinesman, III (G3); his devoted parents, Theresa and Gerald Hinesman, Sr.; his beloved sister, Tonisha "Precious" Craig; nephew, Semaj Johnson; niece, JaMesha Johnson; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends.
His absence will be deeply felt by all who knew and loved him. Yet, his presence will remain forever imprinted in our hearts.
"Gone too soon, but never forgotten."
