George Randall Stortz, age 66, of Melbourne, Kentucky,  passed away on Friday, August 27, 2021 in Cincinnati,  Ohio. He was born  June 14, 1955, in Ft. Thomas, Kentucky.

Butch, as he was affectionately known, was an Army veteran, an avid hunter and fisherman.

Butch is preceded in death by his parents, George and Patricia Stortz (Greeley) and brother David Stortz.

Butch leaves his memories to be cherished by: his loving wife of 38 years, Carol; daughter, Miranda Stortz (Ryan); step daughter, Paula Bailey (Nick); grandchildren, Gage, Raven and Piper; siblings, Sherry Fuller and Darlene Humphreys, several nephews, great-nephews and a great niece.

There will be a private family gathering to celebrate  his life.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to the Kentucky Fish and Wildlife Foundation, https://kentuckywildlife.com  He was born  June 14, 1955, in Ft. Thomas , Kentucky.
