It is with deep sadness we announce the heavenly transition of George Louis Lawson  Sr., age 80, of Cincinnati, Ohio, entered eternal rest on Monday, April 29, 2024, in Cincinnati, Ohio.  He was born on February 13, 1944, in Cincinnati, Ohio to Herbert C. and Rose M. Lawson.

George is survived by three daughters: Melissa Tammaro, Gina Lawson, and Tabitha Branning; one son, George L. Lawson, Jr. all of Cincinnati, OH.; three grandchildren: Alexis Swinford, George L. Lawson, III, and Gracie Branning; two great-grandchildren: Tilly and Presliegh.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert C. and Rose M. Lawson and wife, Lynn Lawson.

The family will observe private services.
