IN LOVING MEMORY OF
George White
Jr.
September 26, 1960 – December 6, 2025
George White Jr. was born on September 26, 1960, in Anderson, South Carolina. He was the son of the late George and Savannah White. George grew up in Anderson, where he attended Cleo Baily Grade School, McCants Junior High School, and T. L. Hanna High School. He worked for the City of Anderson, Equinox Textile Mill, and Carolina Mop Company. He loved working outdoors and was known for having a green thumb.
Later in life, George relocated and made Cincinnati, Ohio, his home, where he lived for the last 20 years. He leaves behind his loving companion of 42 years, Gracie Geer; one son, Omar Nafist Hollings, of Cincinnati, Ohio; stepsons, Arthur Geer (Tonia) of Anderson, South Carolina; Patrick Geer (Sadie) of Cincinnati, Ohio; Douglas Geer of Cincinnati, Ohio; Kelvin Geer (Angela) of Anderson, South Carolina; and Jacqueline Pierson (Todd) of Cincinnati, Ohio. He also leaves behind two sisters, Delois Leslie and Latosha White of Anderson, South Carolina; a brother, Levon White of Atlanta, Georgia; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Marilyn Crosby, and his brother, Sylvester White. George was a loving and easygoing person who enjoyed a laid-back life. He was deeply loved and will surely be missed by his family and friends. May he rest in peace.
