George Lee Carter Sr. was born January 8, 1941, into the blessed union of the late Clarence Carter Sr. and Maris Carter in Selma Alabama.
George was brought to Cincinnati, Ohio at the young tender age of 3, where he adapted quickly and let not forget he grew up to be a ladies man.
Throughout the years George worked as a baker, obviously that helped him to continue his expertise in awesome food making. Oh, but let's not forget how he loved his music and would dance his nights away.
George went to birth six sons- Anthony Carter, George Carter Jr., Clarence Carter, LaMarck Carter, Greg Carter; five daughters- Marrell Carter, Latara Carter, Teshona Carter-Stubblefield, Lena Burnett, and Kim Washington. George was blessed a bundle of grandchildren: Deon Carter, Mahogany Render, Tony Carter, Desiree Carter Lanell Carter, James Turner, Calisha Carter, Canisha Carter, Niesha Carter, Jeremy Burnett, Brittany Burnett, Brandi Burnett, and Brenda Burnett, Ijah, Elijah, Tanijah, Lashona and Sharyia.
George Carter might have departed his life on August 4, 2025, but he went on to glory in the arms of his lovely wife Ida Carter, his loving mother Marie and Clarence Carter Sr. Also, in his transition awaits his brother Clarence Carter Jr., his sisters Claresia, Shirley Tisdale, Marty, Ella Coleman, and Anna Rose Gatewood. His two handsome son's LaMarck Carter Sr, Clarence carter and his also notably handsome grandson LaMarck Carter Jr. George is survived by his brother Robert Alvin Carter, Sisters Marie Louise Hargrove, and Betty Jean Carter. George left behind great-grandbabies, great-great grandbabies, cousin and friends that he also loved very much and a gigantic host of other grandbabies who are loved and cherished.
