It is with deep sadness we announce the heavenly transition of General Lee Ellis , age 97, of Cincinnati, Ohio,  who entered eternal rest on Friday, August 30, 2024, in Cincinnati,  Ohio.   He was born on Saturday, November 27, 1926, in Polaski, Georgia.

Visitation is from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm, on  Saturday, September 7, 2024, at the Bethel Baptist Church, 2712 Alms Place, Cincinnati  (45206).   The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 12:00 pm. Friends and family will gather to share memories, find solace in one another's company, and honor the legacy he leaves behind.

Interment will follow at Spring Grove Cemetery, 4521 Spring Grove Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45232.
