Genaro Gray was born on February 14, 1989 in Cincinnati, Ohio. He departed his life on September 16, 2020. He was the second child to the parents of Emery Gray Sr. and Dornetta Lynn Gray.

Genaro resided in Mt. Healthy, Ohio most of his life and attended Mt Heathy High School where he later graduated. He joined St. Stevens Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Floyd Brown as a young child and was a member of the youth choir. He later joined TSNBC Church under the leadership of Bro. Jerry Culbreth. He was a member of the Junior Mime Ministry, and steppers.

Genaro rededicated his life to Christ on August 19, 2018. Genaro was known for his smile and kind spirit and was always willing to help in any way he could. He had a love for music and would turn and spin a record on any given day. He was known as "Djworldstar" or "Naro" by many.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his parents, Emery Gray Sr. and Dornetta L. Gray; his brother, Emery Jr., sister, Shannon; two nieces, Asia and Shalynn Gray; a great-niece and great-nephew; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and several special childhood friends.

Visitation is from 10:00 am until 11:00 am on Thursday, September 24, 2020 at the Walker Funeral Home - Walnut Hills Chapel, 2625 Gilbert Avenue, Cincinnati  (45206).   The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 11:00 am. Everyone attending must wear a mask and practice social distancing.

Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery, 11200 Princeton Pike, Cincinnati, 45246.

In keeping with the Covid-19 Pandemic restrictions masks are required in order to enter  the service and social distancing must be practiced.  Please be prepared to comply for the safety of all.
