Gayle Edwina Brown " Nanny" was born on February 26,1951 in Cincinnati Ohio to the late Sylvia Brown.Gayle departed her earthly life Thursday April 30,2020 at Good Samaritan hospital.

She was baptized and attended Golden Leaf Baptist Church.She went on to attend and became a member Word Alive Christian Fellowship.

Gayle was a graduate of Hughes High School in 1972. She became employed many places after high school but her longest place of employment was Metro where she worked as a bus driver from 1975-2006. Later in life she become an employee at Kroger where she also retired from.

Gayle was the type to love and connect with everyone,family relationships and friendships were very important to her. She had a deep faith in the Lord. Gayle was the person everyone came to for everything.

Preceded in death by her mother Sylvia Brown, her brothers Norbert and Neil and her grandson James Jr.She leaves to cherish her two children Stephon and Siobhan and her husband James Sr.

She was blessed with 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She was indeed the true definition of a mother and grandmother.

She also leaves to cherish her memory three sisters Karen ,Janet, and Sylvia and three brothers Micheal,Jeffrey and Sean. three nieces and two nephews and a host of other family members and close friends.

Gayle better known as "Nanny" was loved and cherished by many. She was always on the go and loved to attend family/work events. She loved going on outings with her children and grandchildren. Gayle left an impression on anyone she came across she will truly and deeply be missed.

Visitation is from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, on  Saturday, May 9, 2020, at the Walker Funeral Home - Mt. Healthy, 7272 Hamilton Avenue , Mt. Healthy  (45231).   The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 11:00 am. The service will be Live Streamed and you may view service by clicking under services.

Interment will follow at Spring Grove Cemetery, 4521 Spring Grove Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45232.
