Gary Shelton Presswood was born October 13, 1957, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to Annie Pearl Jones and Charles Shelton, Jr. Gary was a lifelong resident of Cincinnati. He attended Taft High School and Southwestern Community College. While in college played basketball while earning an Associate Degree in Accounting. Gary departed this life on March 24, 2013. He leaves to cherish his memory: his lifetime partner of thirty-eight years, Elaine Berry, two sons, Gary D. Berry and Chauncey Bankston, seven daughters, Ebony (Dennis) Presswood, Moneck Presswood, Crystal Berry, Mahogany (Barnes) Presswood, Lola Presswood, Sierra Redd, and Tierra Presswood, twenty grandchildren, four sisters, Linda, Monica, Bernice, and Rhonda, eight brothers, Joshua, Charles, Joseph (Yogi), Robert, Nathan, Timothy, Layton, Lance, and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Savannah and Charles Shelton, Sr, who raised him. His mother, Annie Pearl Jones, aunt, Mary L. Shelton, uncle, Marion Shelton, and granddaughter, Nykael Che-Rae Presswood. Funeral Services will be conducted at 6:00 p.m., Friday, April 5 at Walker Funeral Home – Walnut Hills Chapel, 1025 E.
