Gail Grier was born on January 13, 1956, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to the late Paul Grier and Elizabeth Grier. She had nine siblings. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Dolphus Gerolds and Daniel Gerolds, and her sister, Dorothy Dawson.

Leaving behind to cherish her memory are her brother, Larry Gerolds; and her sisters, Linda Bryant, Shirley Gerolds, Janice Goodloe, Edith Grier, and the youngest, Denise Grier; along with her son, Daleshun Grier; her granddaughter, Shacaira Britten; and her great-grandsons, Amarion Britten and Jaylen Britten.

Gail went to Hughes High School and was a homemaker most of her life. She was known for keeping a clean house. Anybody who knew her would agree.

Gail enjoyed shopping with her mother and big sister Dorothy on the weekends, going to Value City and Tri-County Mall, where they would shop until the workers had to put them out, LOL. She also loved to talk on the phone with her sisters and friends.

Gail loved her music and dancing. One of her favorite bands was Chicago. She loved looking at the music award shows and other TV programs, and she looked at her church shows on Sundays.

Gail loved her food, and she was a foodie. She loved to eat out from time to time and loved her some Alabama Fish Bar on the weekends with her sisters and her son.

Gail was a woman of principle. She wasn't a drinker or smoker and believed in the Lord. Gail always loved to greet you with a smile and sometimes joke with you.

Gail leaves behind her only child, Daleshun, whom she loved with all her heart, and her granddaughter and great-grandsons, along with her Aunt Anne J. Miles. She is the last of her mother's siblings and is a treasure to the family, along with all Gail's nephews, nieces, great-nephews, and great-nieces.

Gail will live on in our hearts forever. Amen.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, on Monday, October 5, 2026, at the Walker Funeral Home - Walnut Hills Chapel, 2625 Gilbert Avenue, Cincinnati (45206). The memorial service will immediately follow the visitation, beginning at 11:00 am. Friends and family will gather to share memories, find solace in one another's company, and honor the legacy she leaves behind.
