Frieda Banks Dellenbaugh, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully on September 6, 2026, in Dillsboro, Indiana, at the age of 79.
Frieda was a loving and devoted woman whose greatest joy was her family. She will be remembered for the love she gave so freely, the memories she created with those around her, and the special place she held in the hearts of her family and friends. She was also a devoted Cincinnati Bengals fan, loved beautiful flowers, Loved God and cherished her beloved dog, Benji.
Frieda was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond Woodall and Edith Woodall Stirnkorb; her husband, Henry “Sonny” Banks; her son, Mark Calvin Banks; her husband, Earl Dellenbaugh; her brother, Tom Woodall; and her sister, Lillian Mascari.
She is survived by her children, Jackie (David) McMillin and Henry (Melissa) Banks Jr.; and her grandson, Jonathan Banks, who held a very special place in her heart.
Frieda is also survived by her siblings, Jenny (Jim) Gegner, Kathy (Jerry) Allen, Frank (Janet) Woodall, Dwight Woodall, Debbie (Mark) Drake, John Woodall, Bill (Alice) Woodall, Janie Woodall, Brenda Woodall, and John Mascari, along with many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Frieda’s passing leaves a profound emptiness for the many people who loved her. Though she is no longer with us, her memory will live on through her children, grandson, siblings, extended family, and the countless lives she touched.
She will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever carried in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
Rest peacefully, Mom. Your love and memory will remain with us always.
Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm, on Sunday, September 13, 2026, at the Walker Funeral Home - Mt. Healthy, 7272 Hamilton Avenue , Mt. Healthy (45231). The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation, beginning at 3:00 pm. Friends and family will gather to share memories, find solace in one another's company, and honor the legacy she leaves behind.
She will be laid to rest at the Banks Family Cemetery in Lee City, Kentucky.
