Fredrick Walker was born March 29, 1948 in Cincinnati, Ohio to his parents, James and Robbie Jean Walker. Fredrick Walker departed this life on April 29, 2020 to be with our Lord.

Fredrick was the youngest of three children. He was preceded in death by his parents; oldest brother, James Walker; and sister, Beverly Walker Harper.

Fredrick attended St. Joseph Catholic School. He later attended Cincinnati Public Schools graduating from Hughes High School in 1966. Fredrick met and married Claudia Rhodes. To this union was born two sons, Fred and Keith. After years of marriage, Fredrick and Claudia divorced. Later he met and married Carolyn Pollard. They were married until he departed this life.

Fredrick had several jobs. He went into training to become a sheet metal worker. He made a career out of becoming a Journeyman and member of Local 24 union. Throughout his career he did work all over the city. Fred retired form the union.

Fred loved life and people. He loved his activities including bowling and fishing. He belonged on two bowling teams, "The Pocket Shooter" and "Hot Shots".  He also bowled on other days with friends. He loved fishing. He would go stay all day.

Fredrick leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Carolyn; two sons, Fredrick Walker Jr. and Keith Walker; his children's mother, Claudia Walker; grandchildren, Fred Timothy Plear, Anthony Walker, Brandon Truitt (Keith), Alexia Smith, Cohen Walker, Keith Walker Jr. and Romeo Walker; sisters and brothers, Karen Walker Brown (Fredrick), Donna Howard (James), Tony Walker, Cynthia Wynn, Owen Spikes Allen Spikes, and Tamela Hoskins (William); brother and sister in laws, Barbara Brock, Jeffrie (Izella) Pollard, Dianne Martin (Willie), Willie Pollard Jr. (Audrey), Vanessa Williams (Robert), and Darrell Pollard; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation is from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm on  Saturday, May 9, 2020 at the Walker- McMILLAN STREET CHAPEL, 1025 E. McMillan Street , Cincinnati  (45206).   The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 3:00 pm.
