IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Frederick William
North
March 30, 1956 – May 2, 2021
Fredrick William North was born March 30, 1956 (Aries) in Cincinnati Ohio to the late Mrs. Odessa and Mr. Berry North. He had 8 siblings Willie, Annie Mae and Jackie (living) Berry, Johnny, Shirley and Bobby (transitioned). Freddy was a devoted father figure to his niece, Tamika Wilson, nephew, Jerry North (passed) & great nephew, Shakiel Nichols. He had a deep affection for his great great niece, Brooklyn Posey, whom he nicknamed Princess. During Freddy's childhood, the family attended New Friendship Baptist Church where he became a member. Freddy was a graduate of Withrow High School class of 1974 and attended the University of Cincinnati for several years. Freddy's career was devoted to helping adults and youth become productive citizens.
Freddy loved to philosophize about past and current issues in the community and throughout the world. He was also very comical and had you laughing in stitches or immediately hanging up the phone with many of his prank calls often made to family members. He shared stories about the children he worked with, where he would need an aspirin or beer as soon as he got home or material for a made-for-life-TV reality show.
Freddy loved his gospel (especially Marvin Sapp, Never Would Have Made It) and R&B (especially Beyonce, Irreplaceable). From time to time would do a two-step at family gatherings and the Joker Club. During Freddy's youth he was an avid jogger, a friend of the family would always see him running and confidentially asked his sister Jackie, if he was running to China! He really prided himself on his sense of fashion, being well dressed and a gentleman to all who knew him. One of Freddy's favorite holidays was Christmas; he loved giving gifts to family. Freddy was known for having a good heart, which is a common characteristic of the North family.
Freddy will truly be missed by all who knew him, we cherish your memories, love you and will see you in the bye and bye!!!
