Franklin Davis was born August 16, 1947 in Cincinnati, Ohio to William R. and Sallie Davis.

Frankie, as he was affectionately known to the family, was one of 12 siblings.

Frankie attended Cincinnati Public Schools and frequented Findlay Street Neighborhood House where he and his twin brother participated on the Golden Gloves Boxing Association Tournaments throughout their young lives.  He loved reading superhero comics and playing cards.

As customary in the Davis Family, Franklin was baptized at 2nd Corinthian Baptist Church and served on the Junior Usher Board and sang in the Junior Choir.

Franklin loved his family and had a gentle loving spirit.  He was always good at making others laugh and had a signature message to leave with you when you had a conversation with him "That's Right."

He was preceded in death by: his parents, William R. and Sallie Davis; four brothers, Frederick Davis, his twin brother, William Davis, Jr., Herman Davis and Edward Davis and two sisters, Betty Davis Burton and Vivian Brunson.

Frankie departed this life on June 16, 2025 at 6:08 am at Clovernook Healthcare Pavilion in Mt. Healthy, Cincinnati, Ohio.

Franklin leaves to cherish his loviong memory to his siblings, Joann Wilkerson, Bernice Sullivan, Calvin (Gloria) Davis, Wanda Farley and Gail Canady; sister-in-law, Phyllis Davis and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Franklin will be surely missed but definitely not forgotten.

Visitation is from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, on  Friday, June 27, 2025, at the Walker Funeral Home - Mt. Healthy, 7272 Hamilton Avenue , Mt. Healthy  (45231).   The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 11:00 am. Friends and family will gather to share memories, find solace in one another's company, and honor the legacy he leaves behind.

Interment will follow at Vine Street Hill Cemetery, 3701 Vine Street, Cincinnati, Ohio 45220.
