IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Frank "Frankie"
Watson Jr
December 16, 1948 – October 16, 2015
Life's Reflection Frank Watson Jr. was born December 17, 1948 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Frank Watson Sr. and Esther Watson who both preceded him in death. He was the oldest son of five children. "Frankie" accepted Christ at an early age deepening his faith through Christ in prayer and grew in his relationship with God his entire life. He was well-known, loved by many friends and family members and would always be seen walking throughout many Cincinnati communities. Frank was a star athlete, excelling in the sport of baseball. As a teenager, he loved to sing with his friends and competed in several local talent shows. Frank loved to dance; in high school, he was voted best dancer among his peers. He was an excellent swimmer, so after graduating from Taft High School in 1968, he joined the United States Navy, serving two years and received an Honorable discharge. He resided briefly in California then decided to return home to Cincinnati. He met and married Pamela Johnson and had one beautiful daughter, Tiffany. Frank loved his family, especially the bond with his brother, Glenn, daughter Tiffany, and stepson Chris. He never met a stranger and made friends with every person he met. He had a sense of self and dignity, was always smiling, joking and laughing with friends in the West End community and residents in Park Eden Apartments. Earning the title "Pool Commissioner" was quite an accomplishment for Frank. Every competitor in the Park Eden recreation room wanted to beat him at pool because he was one of the best players. Throughout his career, he worked at various companies in warehouse positions and as a machinist at Westinghouse until his retirement. Frank rekindled a previous relationship with Cassandra Wooten. Frank and Cassandra's relationship was about love, companionship and devotion. Their romance blossomed for a few years and eventually they married December 22, 2013 and lived happily ever after. On a sunny fall day in October 2015, he fulfilled a promise to his wife to reside permanently in warm climate weather. They relocated to Daytona Beach, Florida; then soon after they settled into their new apartment, Frank reached his arms out to God and transitioned into the afterlife. He was a man of his word. Those who will always cherish his most precious memories include: wife, Cassandra Watson; daughter, Tiffany Watson; granddaughter, Mya Watson; brother, Glenn Watson; sisters, Diana Watson, Rita Watson and Elaine Dean; stepson, Christopher (Sabrina Little) McCowen; aunts, Lizzie Pearl Banks of Tampa, FL, Odessa Ford of Boston, MA; uncle, Ivory (Betty) Scott of Albany, GA; host of cousins, nieces, nephews and other relatives, best friend Raymond Carr; many other loving friends and Taft High School Alumni.
