From the very beginning, Frank had a passion for sports. He joined the small and mighty Lyon Junior High's football team, and later played basketball and football for Moeller High, until he graduated in 1980. While furthering his education at Southern Ohio College, Frank discovered a love for softball. He joined the Church League and played for teams sponsored by Oakley Square Church of God and Jerriel Missionary Baptist Church. Over the years, Frank received numerous awards as a member of the Cincinnati Players and Local 265 softball teams. In 1994, after collaborating with several players, Frank started a team called AllNet, which was sponsored by Tyrone Hill. The team won numerous softball tournaments. It was on the softball field that Frank met the love of his life. On April 18, 1992 Frank was united in holy matrimony to Charlene Elaine Small at Jerriel Missionary Baptist Church. They were blessed with two children, Frank and Kayla. It was during this union that Frank confessed a belief in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and was baptized at Southern Baptist Church. On and off the field Frank was known for his sense of humor and making people laugh. He will be remembered most for his love of people and devotion to his family and friends. On Saturday, April 5, 2014, after 52 years, God called Frank home. He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving mother, Laura Hunter; a loving and devoted wife, Charlene Hunter; his children, Frank and Kayla Hunter; three brothers, Anthony "Tony" Hunter, Mark Ralls (Retrina), and Brian Rogers; three sisters, Janice Dews (Charles), Regina Hunter and Teri Ralls; and a host of special nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, softball "brothers" and countless friends. Frank is preceded in death by his father, Paul Ralls and a brother, Anthony Ralls.
