Frank R. Collins was born April 24, 1954, Cincinnati, Ohio to the union of the late Jimmie and Aldora Collins. He married Debbie L. Stewart February 23, 2004. He accepted Christ at an early age. Frank was a member of Greater Canaan Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Yancy Phillips continued by Pastor Larry Bradley. Frank attended Hughes High School. He worked at Sawbrook Steel Company for over 30 years where he later retired. Frank hobbies were fishing, hunting, speaking wisdom to others, feeding others, reading the Bible, talking smack but most of all he loved his family. Frank was preceded in death by his parents, one sister Alice Cameron, six brothers James, Jimmie (Red), Thomas, Leroy, Smith and Charles Collins. He leaves to cherish his memories loving wife Debbie Collins, five daughters Clarrissa Stinson (Malcolm), Deborah Ball (Damerle), Tiffany Hill, Andrea Childress, and Danielle Mathews. Four sons Donta Childress, Gregory Stewart, Donnelle Springs (Eclia), and Gregory Barnes. Six sisters Corrine Threkeld of Flint, MI, Ada Barnes, Annie Grant (David), Aldora Gulley (Charles),Lillie Roberts (George), and Marilyn Rodgers (Bill). Two brother-in-laws Harold Stewart (Emily) and Robert Stewart. One sister-in-law Ruth Black. Fifteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Special friends Charles Walters, Patrick Vickers, R. L. Grice, Arthur Harris, and Randal Sumners. . Visitation is from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, on Saturday, February 4, 2017, at Corinthian Baptist Church. The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Spring Grove Cemetery, 4521 Spring Grove Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45232.
